1. Getting started
1.1 Creating an account
To start using CityAnuncios, you need to create an account. Click on "Register" in the top right corner of the home page. Fill out the form with your personal information and follow the instructions to verify your account.
1.2 Completing your profile
Once you've created your account, we recommend completing your profile. A complete profile builds trust among users and increases the chances of your ads receiving responses. To edit your profile, click on your username in the top right corner and select "Profile".
1.3 Browsing categories
CityAnuncios organizes ads into categories to make searching easier. You can explore categories from the home page or use the search bar to find something specific.
2. Posting ads
2.1 Creating an ad
To post an ad, click on "Create Ad" in the navigation bar. Select the appropriate category, fill in all required fields, and add high-quality photos to increase the visibility of your ad.
2.2 Tips for a good ad
- Use a clear and descriptive title
- Include all relevant information in the description
- Set a realistic price
- Add multiple high-quality photos
- Respond quickly to inquiries
2.3 Managing your ads
You can view and manage all your active ads in the "My Ads" section. From there, you can edit, renew, highlight, or delete your ads.
3. Buying and selling
3.1 Contacting sellers
When you find an ad that interests you, you can contact the seller by clicking the "Contact" button on the ad page. You can send a direct message or, if the seller has provided it, use their phone number.
3.2 Safety tips
To ensure a safe experience, we recommend following our safety tips. Never send money in advance without seeing the item, and if possible, conduct transactions in person in public and safe places.
3.3 Rating system
After completing a transaction, you can rate your experience with the other user. Ratings help build a community of trust and allow other users to make informed decisions.
4. Account and settings
4.1 Changing password
To change your password, go to your profile and select the "Change password" option. You'll need to enter your current password and the new password.
4.2 Notifications
You can customize your notification preferences in the "Settings" section. Decide which notifications you want to receive by email and which ones only on the platform.
4.3 Deleting account
If you wish to delete your account, go to "Settings" and select "Delete account". Please note that this action is irreversible, and all your data and ads will be permanently deleted.
